Today it’s snowed, I feel inspired for Christmas but not for my designs. I need to clear my head and my space from all the troubles I have elsewhere!
I need to complete 2 – 3 projects in the next two weeks… all I can say to that is Eeek… I had better pull my fingers out!
So my new art brief has been set, I am so excited I cannot contain myself. We have to base it within the school grounds and I have chosen the subject of Past and Present. I found out that the building was once an old Army College and Hospital because it was my school. Then I found out that that was built by using the bricks of the former Millbank Prison that was on the site as well as Tate Britain (which also uses the bricks of the prison!) So I am going to go down that route!
I think it’s a beautiful building and it has the links to my art school that is needed for the project, hopefully I can bring it alltogether with the infamous ‘prosess’ and make something brilliant! Two weeks to go!
I’m a very happy art student at the moment… Where am I going was successful and I managed to get my place within my chosen specalist area of Fashion Textiles!! Hurrah…
Now I have to pull out all the stops and make this new project shine, I have to get into Chelsea Textiles and without a strong portfolio I have no chance!

Where am I going has eventually been compeleted, I am rather pleased with the outcome in particular my eagerness conveyed as to why I want to go into Fashion Textiles. I also added a piece from my 3D experience that I made! I think it’s beautiful! x
I knew that by the end I would be frazzled. Collating everything together would be hard, I should have completed the work at the end of each week but I was caught in this whirlwind of creativity!!! If only I could turn back time and start again, but things wouldn’t be the same…
